Job Description

BENEFITS

Position Purpose:  
Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting any irregular activity within the facility to include incoming and outgoing truck traffic, confirming and directing visitors to appropriate site location, and compiling with standard procedures in the event of on-site emergency situations.

Primary Duties/responsibilities: 

  • Document incoming truck drivers to include name, trailer numbers, log in weight, obtain manifest numbers, complete receiving reports, and direct drivers to appropriate locations.
  • Keep track of all other vehicles and visitors entering the premises.
  • Keep track of employees entering at various gate entrances by logging in time of entry and/or departure from the site.
  • Regularly makes timely and designated rounds on the premises to insure that security provisions have been followed according to standard operating procedures.
  • Set alarm systems at designated time to insure security at various buildings within the facility.
  • Alert appropriate personnel of emergency situations such as utility problems and/or local authorities in the event of fires, disturbances, etc.
  • Box Management - Instrumental in executing the sites empty customer box and tanker management protocols.
  • Residual Fleet management – manages & maintains 130 dedicated residual fleet boxes
  • Other work related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background: 

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
  • Associate’s degree with an emphasis in law enforcement skills preferred
  • Prior work experience of 1 to 2 years in a related position preferred

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: 

  • Good verbal skills
  • DOT Training certification required
