The Global Advertising and Brand Management (GABM) organization has a mission to create marketplace demand and drive commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative Ideas, products, partnerships, marketing, and customer experiences.

OnBrand is American Express’ In-House Creative agency, our agency is on journey for an exciting expansion. Our ambition is “Become creative partner-of-choice to build seamless customer experiences for our Business Units, essential for driving results and unlocking value through deeper knowledge of our business powered by industry-defining creative excellence”. We are focused on developing forward thinking ideas and work across channels, end-to-end experiences in digital and beyond.

As a Senior Editor you will create original and highly engaging content on a weekly basis for our Marketing Partners across the Enterprise. You will be responsible for trend spotting, ideation, creative development, and execution of all video and social content. You must be great collaborator with creatives and producers and know how to elevate a concept/script to award winning executions.

Qualifications/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • 5+ years post-production experience cutting traditional broadcast TVC, social media content and branded films.
  • Experience in offline editorial and running supervised sessions with high level creatives.
  • Strong understanding of pace and storytelling to deliver engaging and impactful content.
  • Proficient in emerging technologies to fully utilize our new, in-house content studio edit suite; i.e. Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Divinci Resolve, and Frame.io.
  • A master of efficiency to quickly prioritize and address creative and marketer notes, to meet tight deadlines.  
  • Notable experience managing online and offline editorial needs such as cutdowns, lifts and versioning, rips, pitches and case studies; prepping edits for final mix, color correction and conform.  
  • Motion graphics/animatic editing, audio record & mix (to utilize our audio booth) and transcoding raw media a plus. 
  • Ability to concept to video/social execution in a high output
  • Ability to combine conceptual creative thinking with high-quality video/content delivery
  • Passionate about film, video and social media, trends, technology and best practices
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • A "maker" mentality, be curious and not afraid to try new methods
  • Conceptual skills
  • Your work has been recognized by industry awards 

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
