The Network & Acquiring Solutions (NAS) team at American Express powers global payments, working across business units and with key industry partners. We tackle critical challenges like securing online transactions and driving innovation in payment solutions.

On the Network Delivery team, we are modernizing our network with products like Debit, QR, Tokenization and Account to Account payments. We are enabling expansion into new markets, customer acquisition, and regulatory compliance.

Role Overview:

The Enterprise Payments Centre of Excellence (CoE) is leading a multi-year ground-breaking initiative to evolve American Express into a multi-Rail payments ecosystem that features operational and technical excellence in payment execution, to ultimately drive new revenue, relevance and opportunities for the business.

As ‘Senior Manager, Business Analysis – Discovery & Transformation’, you’ll be at the center of building on the Payments CoE mission! In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and technology by interpreting business requirements into capability needs for technical delivery. You’ll solve sophisticated problems, assess alternative solutions, and craft innovative deliverables that align with strategic goals. You’ll also establish relationships across teams, influence collaborators, and present insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business partners to define scope, value, and strategic alignment of priorities.
  • Build and lead ground-breaking initiatives, improving and introducing new network capabilities.
  • Present sophisticated ideas clearly to leadership at a senior level.
  • Provide consultancy on network ecosystems, capabilities and discovery standard methodologies.
  • Write and deliver solutions with our business and technology partners.

Qualifications:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly articulate complexities
  • Strong collaboration, presentation and influencing skills
  • Validated experience getting results in a global environment.
  • Experience in business transformation and Agile frameworks.
  • Payments industry experience is preferred but not crucial.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
