Physical Requirements
This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; and performing tasks with repetitive motions. Also involves some exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to loud noises, temperature extremes, cuts/punctures, and combative/violent people.

Job Summary
The Staff Support Associate serves as a navigator at the UK Healthcare information desks; this position will assist with way-finding, patient throughput, maintaining a safe environment, and communication between staff and guests. Additional duties include clerical assignments related to customer relations.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Excellent communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; the ability to work in fast-paced, high stress, team-centered environment, and an understanding of healthcare information systems.
