Job Summary

The ESH Clerical Associate’s primary responsibility is to supportpatient care delivery by processing physician orders, maintainingpatient records, managing patient information, and providingcustomer service. This individual must have excellentorganization and communication skills.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

High School Graduate orEquivalent is required. One year of experience is required. Theemployee shall become familiar with HIPAA regulations and dotheir utmost to protect all protected health information (PHI)and other personal or sensitive information within their trust inthe course of state business by applying appropriate safeguardsand sharing only the information required to deliver agencyservices. Any personal or sensitive information overheard or seenby the employee will be kept confidential by not sharing it withothers, on or off the work-site grounds. Fully participate in all activities regarding the elimination of the use of seclusion andrestraints in patient care including educational requirements,competency development activities, and meeting establishedperformance goals and measures. Must have computer competency inapproved systems. Must have excellent customer service skills.
