Bachelor's Degree: $19.50 - $21.59 per hour
Master's Degree: $21.30 - $23.38 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the visitation process including: intake/referral; orientation; treatment, safety, & permanency planning; clinical supervision; and monitoring of outcomes for all recipients of visitation service.
- Provide support for children and parents before, during and after visits. Identify specific parenting behaviors to improve and develop with parents
- Actively collaborate with referral sources (ECDSS, Family Court representatives, Gateway-Longview permanency planners, etc) to identify precipitators to visitation referral and intended outcomes desired for the family.
- Engage family and identified members of the treatment team in the development of a plan for visitation
- Meet with parents prior to and after visitation to discuss specific achievement of goals and identify specific child/family needs
- Facilitate creative therapeutic intervention strategies to assist parents and children during visitation.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a clinically-based area
- Valid New York State driver’s license and adequate auto insurance coverage
- Knowledge of parenting skills, child development, attachment and bonding, and grief issues. Understanding of the impact of domestic violence, substance abuse, and abuse/maltreatment on children and families.
- Must be flexible with hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary, assisting in the transportation needs of children and families referred, and crisis intervention
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented, ability to work independently and be an enthusiastic team player. Must have a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
- Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles
