Technology Innovation Architect

We are currently seeking a Technology Innovation Architect to join our team. 

This position requires diving head-first into areas of technology and product landscape with little or no familiarity with a determination to succeed. Responsible for evaluating new technology and products that will shape future software solution deliverables.  Works on Proofs-of-Confidence to determine feasibility of technology and products being evaluated. Shares new technology and product expertise through effective training workshops.

Responsibilities: 

  • Participates in evaluation of new technology and products to assess usability of those to develop software solutions that solve business problems.
  • Proactively explores, investigates and evaluates new technologies, technology trends and related concerns.  
  • Produces guidance documents on chosen technology and products.
  • Conducts workshops and demos to train other teams on chosen technology and products.
  • Participates in long term projects focused on migration and modernization of technology.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
  • Five plus years of professional experience is required.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to make sound qualitative judgments on appropriateness and effectiveness of technology and products.
  • Problem solving skills and being resourceful in doing are required.
  • Ability to quickly learn technologies and concepts as needed.
  • Expertise in C#.
  • Working knowledge of Roslyn Compiler.
  • Broad knowledge and experience of Microsoft frameworks, particularly .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, MVC/WebAPI, WCF, WF, and Entity Framework/other ORM.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational concepts.
  • Working knowledge of JSON, XML and XSLT.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and F#.
  • Good working knowledge of SPA frameworks like Angular, and JavaScript/AJAX/jQuery, HTML.
  • Working knowledge in security aspects like OWASP and static code analyzers like SonarQube.
  • Knowledge of Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Micro Services Architecture and Containerization is a plus.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts using diagrams and presentations as needed.
  • Communicates tactfully and effectively, and maintains positive and effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.

  • Exhibits a passion for learning and continuous improvement. Takes responsibility for acquiring new skills and broadening knowledge.

Insperity provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $ 83,300.00 to $ 137,200.00.
