The Associate Director of Finance and Grants Administration is also responsible for preparing complex financial projections and reports for PIs and the EDFAI, ensures compliance with grant sponsors and University policies and regulations, works closely with senior scientists to ensure continuous grant funding, serves as the principle source of information for CBAR related to NIH regulations and policies, is responsible for reviewing and approving expenditures to ensure costs are allowable and allocated to the correct funds, and is responsible for overseeing the IT Cost Center to ensure costs are allowable. The Associate Director will collaborate with Kempner community members to host events and workshops to educate people on artificial intelligence, machine learning, cognitive sciences, and neuroscience. &nbsp; The ideal candidate will have higher education and teaching experience in one or more of these fields, as well as a passion for undergraduate and postgraduate education.
