Prepares reports that summarize and interpret current and projected financial position for management. Reviews contracts, orders, and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions. Reviews proper handling of financial transactions. Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and University policy and procedures. Assists with various special projects as needed. Knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems. Complies with state and university policies. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required Qualifications: Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics is typically required or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience required: One year of related experience to the statement of duties and responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Proficient in basic excel skills (V-Lookup function), data collection and analysis tools. Be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in statistics and have strong problem solving skills. Able to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
