Position Summary:

As a Brand Manager, you will be tasked with leading America’s #1 Cinnamon Flavored Candy brand – Hot Tamales®!

The Brand Manager is a spicy “general manager” marketing role that will give you the opportunity to capitalize on your entrepreneurial skills to own and improve brand performance. This includes collaborating cross-functionally to build brand strategy and equity, as well as developing and implementing short / long-term plans to increase top and bottom-line growth.

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Work Model: Hybrid – Tuesday/Wednesday in office

How You’ll Impact Results:

·        Strategic Influence: Work cross-functionally to create and implement brand strategies and actionable go-to-market approaches, with a focus on both immediate and long-term business goals

·        Brand Equity Building: Partner with internal partners and external agencies to develop brand positioning, compelling briefs, media strategies, and comprehensive brand communications with an omni-channel approach

·        Campaign Management: Oversee agencies and vendors to execute campaigns, assess outcomes, and foster continuous improvement

·        P&L Management: Ownership of Profit and Loss for the portfolio, overseeing both top-line and bottom-line performance, A&P spending, and market share targets

·        Innovation: Shape the innovation roadmap and manage cross-functional efforts with product development to drive initiatives from concept to market

·        Culture Ambassador: Embrace curiosity and an open-minded "Yes And" approach to new ideas, fostering a growth-oriented vision that inspires teams and strengthens collaboration with internal and external partners

·        Business Analysis: Use data to guide strategic decision, ensuring accurate demand forecasting and strong in-market execution

·        Consumer Research & Insights: Conduct custom research to answer strategic business questions, translating findings into actionable and inspiring insights.

·        Sales Partnership: Work closely with the Sales team to enhance selling strategies and contribute to holistic growth plans at the account level

Your Qualifications That Will Ensure Success:

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience required. MBA preferred.

·        Experience: 3+ years of experience in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) organization required; confectionery / Candy or Food & Beverage experience is a plus.

·        People Leadership: Experience in team building within brand marketing is a strong plus.

·        Results Oriented: Demonstrated success in brand management and P&L ownership.

·        Growth Mindset: Proven ability to set and achieve strategic goals in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

·        Influential Skilled in collaboration and influence within a matrixed organization.

·        Communication: Strong communication, presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
