Responsibilities:
- Produce written and/or visual communications for a variety of corporate communication vehicles (e.g. corporate newsletter, etc.)
- Install and maintain web pages, including graphics, layout and user interface features
- Support business unit communication needs
- Provide subject matter expertise as needed
- Assist in communication program development
- Facilitate group processes or discussions as necessary
- Assist in ongoing evaluation of programs for effectiveness
- Actively participate in professional learning or communication organizations & apply / share learning in organization
- Cover company events, activities, news
- Assist in updating daily intranet news
- Interview for daily intranet news
- Schedule multi-media events
- Attend key company events
- Cover Beans Best, Trek Across Maine, Town Hall, and all intern events
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a college or a university degree program
- Strong writing skills
- Journalistic writing experience
- Good communications skills
- Strong scheduling and time management skills
- Strong editing / proofreading skills
- Ability to format
- Interest in written communication
- Curiosity, ability to interview all levels of employees
- Interest in multimedia: podcasts, video, social media
- Strong PowerPoint skills
