Enterprise Communications Sr. Specialist

THE ROLE
The primary function of the Enterprise Communications Sr. Specialist is to help support the smooth delivery of communication projects and deliverables, particularly across our employee communication efforts. This role involves a combination of business unit communications support and firm-wide communications delivery and will assist in the creation, coordination, and distribution of clear and engaging communications. They will help to maintain the firm’s intranet by publishing content; curate, format and deliver the firm’s weekly newsletter; and manage weekly content for the firm’s in-office digital screens. This person will also help oversee the successful execution of communication projects, by offering project management support. As an important member of the Enterprise Communications team, they will help to keep employees well-informed about company news, updates, initiatives, and events while gaining exposure to marketing, communications and corporate strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist in the development of various Enterprise Communications materials including department memos and internal presentations—working cooperatively with business partners throughout the firm.
- Draft, edit, format and distribute company-wide announcements, newsletters, emails, and other internal communications.
- Maintain an updated internal communications calendar and coordinate with communications colleagues and departmental business partners to ensure timely delivery of communications.
- Collaborate with various teams to gather information and create relevant content.
- Help maintain, feed and enhance internal communication channels, including employee intranet, email tool, digital screens, and social networking tool; Measure the effectiveness of internal communications channels and make recommendations for improvement.
- Using templates. a workflow management tool and other best practices/tools to support Communications team with project management responsibilities, ensuring timelines are met, coordinating handoffs and securing appropriate approvals.
- Provide support to internal business partners by fulfilling requests in a timely manner and fostering positive experiences that result in client satisfaction.
- Assist in special communications projects as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2-5+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and business partners at all levels.
- Organized self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with intranet platforms.
- Knowledge of best practices in internal communications is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Ability to shift priorities in response to changing business demands while adhering to stated deadlines.
