SUPERVISOR, SALES COMMUNICATIONS

We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Sales Communications to join our team.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supervising the Sales Communications team and advancing Insperity’s vision, mission, core values, and branding through internal communications channels and messaging to the Sales Organization in alignment with key sales initiatives and company growth objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Coordinates the team members responsible for creating, building, and delivering internal messaging to the sales organization.

•    Creates, maintains, and leads team in adherence to sales communications calendar.

•    Oversees the day-to-day operations of the internal sales communication channels.

•    Researches, analyzes, identifies, and tests new communications channels and tools and provides recommendations to management to deploy a mix of communication channels and strategies to the sales force.

•    Understands employee insights and motivations and guides the team in delivering communications effectively to create impact and engagement.

•    Manages the ongoing communications to the sales force of sales processes and procedures.

•    Develops and manages email content, including creative direction and message strategy.

•    Leads editing and review process of collateral produced by communications team members.

•    Participates in and coordinates response during crisis situations in accordance with policy and processes and as directed by sales management.

•    Manages Sales newsletters and communications design and analytics through email tracking system such as ELOQUA.

•    Works with Marketing as appropriate to align sales communications plans with marketing initiatives and to ensure corporate branding guidelines are upheld.

•    Applies project management principles and techniques to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget.

•    Fosters relationships with other department leaders and teams to develop trust and open communication.

•    Provides consultation to various departments, sales personnel, sales management, and other internal stakeholders to develop their messaging content so it is pertinent to the sales force, advising on frequency and most effective delivery medium for various internal communications channels.

•    Participates in and coordinates the development and execution of a communications strategy that take end user feedback into account and streamlines processes for efficient resource deployment.

•    Creates communications for internal sales audiences including manipulating images and content in Photoshop, Illustrator, Eloqua, PowerPoint and Korbyt or other digital signage software.

•    Produces original video content, multimedia presentations, podcasts, and livestream broadcasts for the Sales organization.

•    Measures and reports on the performance of all sales communications campaigns and channels, assessing against Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals.

•    Supervises the creation and execution of key communication materials for the Sales and Marketing Convention.

•    Provides leadership and mentoring for the sales communications team.

QUALIFICATIONS

•    Bachelor’s degree in communications, business or marketing is preferred.

•    Five to seven years work related experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or similar field required.

•    Ability to create original graphics and produce original videos utilizing Adobe products is preferred.

•    Understanding of Insperity’s product and service offerings is preferred.

•    Thorough knowledge of English language, grammar, spelling and AP Stylebook.

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to tailor messages for various personas, develop scripts for executive leadership, gather and present information in an effective and consistent manner, and express high profile complex technical concepts in business terms.

•    Well-developed leadership qualities and business acumen.  

•    Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment maintaining effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.

•    Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.

•    Commitment to utilizing and enforcing defined standards and processes.

•    Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize projects and work well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency and flexibility.

•    Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality while driving projects forward.

•    Thorough understanding of B2B sales and the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, with an ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and apply company policies, objectives and operations, and review and edit information to capture corporate image.

•    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Workfront or similar project management program, and Microsoft 365 products.

•    Strong organizational, project, and resource management skills.
