Clinical Faculty (Part-time, AY 2024-2025) UIW Mission Position Summary The Department of OPPI invites candidates for Clinical Faculty, part-time within the University of the Incarnate Word's School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM). The faculty member will operate within the UIWSOM framework of lifelong learning through collaborative scholarship, innovative educational excellence, and learner-centered curricula. Assistant/Associate Professor of Physiology UIW Mission Position Summary The Department of Applied Biomedical Sciences invites candidates for Assistant/Associate Professor of Physiology within the University of the Incarnate Word's School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM). This full-time, non-tenure, faculty position will teach in the area of Human Physiology and is responsible for facilitating small interactive group sessions engaging in case-based and large group discussions. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities, as assigned. UIWSOM faculty members will have responsibility for teaching and participating in UIW and UIWSOM community service initiatives.
