Establishes standards and procedures to be used in the development of systems. <dt><h4>Job Responsibilities</h4></dt><ul><li>Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and support of HL7 standards.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinical staff, administrators, and developers, to gather and document business requirements for the EHR system.</li><li>Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for our software and cloud platform.</li><li>Collaborate with developers and administrators to resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance.</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.</li><li>Compose clear and detailed JIRA tickets for developers and administrators.</li><li>Ensure the security of IT systems and data, adhering to best practices and company policies.</li><li>Utilize available tolls like REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.</li><li>Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally and securely.</li><li>Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and system reliability.</li><li>Provide technical support to end-users, by interfacing with vendor Support Teams to address issues related to software promptly.</li><li>Assist corporate trainers with training programs for clinic staff to ensure efficient use of the EHR system.</li><li>Analyze clinical workflows and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within the EHR system.</li><li>Generate and analyze reports to support clinical and administrative decision-making.</li></ul> Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <ul><li>Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms and supporting software applications.</li><li>Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively</li><li>Availability to work on-call or during off-hours as needed to support hospital IT operations.</li><li>Proficiency with ticketing systems like JIRA and Ivanti for issue tracking and ticket management.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).</li><li>Understanding of IT security tools and protocols.</li><li>Proficiency in HL7 and IT security best practices is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with HIPPA standards.</li></ul><dt><h4>Minimum Qualifications</h4></dt>Associate degree and three (3) years of related experience.&nbsp; OR&nbsp; Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level IT Enterprise Business Analyst 2 (ITP181) or position equivalent.&nbsp; Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or minimum of 2 years' experience working with Hospital IT or equally complex systems.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing EHR and Practice Management systems in a medical or healthcare setting.</li><li>Proven experience in (EHR) system implementation, configuration, and support.</li></ul><dt><h4>Additional Information</h4></dt>Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner and &nbsp;leaders encourages all employees to engage in regular wellness activities and to make lifestyle choices that promote health and well-being.
